The cache is located in a Rest Area along Highway 144, about half way between Timmins and Sudbury - close to the Height of Land.
This is a wonderful spot to stop on the long trip through the Northern Boreal Forest between Timmins and Sudbury. It has plenty of parking, clean rest rooms, picnic tables and even a walking trail called 'The Jack Pine Trail'. Check out the plaques on the huge rock across from the trailhead noting 50 and 75 million trees planted. There is a new rest area that is wheel chair accessible.
The cache container was a waterproof match container but has been replaced by a film can with wire hanging device and covered with camouflage tape. It contains a scroll log and pencil a few diamonds. There is just enough room for small trade items. Best to bring a pen or pencil just in case. Please replace it in the same location. There will probably be Muggles at the site but the cache is shielded from most activity.
Due to recent construction in the area of the old location and major trimming of the host tree the cache has been replaced and moved to a new location - please do not be rough with the new tree especially in the winter.
