A new cache to honour Jo and Andrew's 1st Taffy in Brent cache.Not suitable for wheelchairs.
This small L and L type cache is just off path at the Welsh Harp reservoir in Brent/Barnet borders.
The Welsh Harp or Brent Reservoir is a 90 hectare of open water, marshes, trees and grassland less than 10 miles from the centre of London and only a few minutes from Wembley Stadium and Brent Cross Shopping Centre. The Reservoir provides a valuable habitat for wildlife and an attractive recreational centre.
The area offers an excellent place to relax and watch both the wildlife and sport on the reservoir. It is worth noting however that you should not venture yourself or let your dog splash about in the waters as unfortunately there are parts of the reservoir with the dreaded blue green algae.
The cache is placed away from, so as not to spoil or interfere with, the breeding grounds of the various birdlife in the area.
The cache contains a new TB,a keyring,a whistle,a nano cache and a log.
