A local nonprofit community beautification organization, Viva Cuba, founded in 1984, had a goal to complete 12 building murals along historic Route 66 by 2007, which was Cuba’s 150th anniversary. The project began in 2001.
The Missouri House and Senate have proclaimed Cuba "Route 66 Mural City." This Viva Cuba project is part of a citywide effort to revitalize the original business district and to make the community more attractive to tourists and people thinking of settling in the community.
Here you will find the eleventh mural painted in Cuba. It was painted in 2005, it illustrates the Academy Award winning Bette Davis' trip to Cuba in 1948.
You will need to do the following to find the next mural.
To calculate the North Look for the title of the newspaper in the mural, count the letters in the title. Call that number A.
A X 50 + 40 = 38 03. _ _ _
To calculate the West look for the number above the mural. Make that B. B - 125 = 091 24._ _ _
If you have done the above correctly you will arrive at the tenth mural painted in Cuba in 2005, it is actually a series of nine panels covering four buildings. This is an awesome mural and one of our personal favorites.

Look for how many buttons that are fully visible on General Price's Jacket call this number Y. Now look for the number of stars (total) on his collar call this Z. Y – Z - 2 = C
