Geocache Description:

A nice short walk from Harlaston village. Easy to find cache under a footbridge.

Park in Harlaston, (4 miles North of Tamworth) outside the church, opposite the shop or along Manor Lane.
Walk down Manor Lane to a field gateway by No26. In the field turn right towards the telegraph poles then follow the footpath down the hill. (If the footpath has not been cleared, follow the field edge or track down to the bottom of the field.)

There is a new footbridge to cross the brook at the bottom of the field to go towards Haunton. The cache is under the bridge before you cross. See photos for spoilers.

This is a popular place for dog walking so take care. The land is farmed so be aware of tractors. The stream banks are steep so keep an eye on children.

There are lots of nice circular walks from here – towards Haunton or Edingale (a good short walk includes the old watermill and river Mease). The White Lion Pub in Harlaston is unusual and serves food.
