This cache has been archived.

HighCountryAdmin: I am archiving this defunct geocache to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. Geocache Description:

This cache is place near an old gold, silver and lead mine. Some of the old equipment is still here and pretty neat. Most of the mine shafts are still open so keep a tight leash on roaming kids and pets. The views of the valley are great from here also. You can drive to the cache location in a high clearance four wheel drive vehicle. If you hike from Baylor Canyon Road it will be about 1.5 miles. I have taken a two wheel drive pick-up truck about 8/10 of a mile up the road if you want to cut the hike a little short. Be careful there are a few tricky spots. If anyone knows the proper name of the mine please let me know.
