Geocache Description:

The Purpose of this Cache is to Honor David S Criegh also Known as the Greenbrier Martyr.

A Pleasant Stroll through the Historical District in Downtown Lewisburg leads to the first two stages of the cache. The Final Cache itself is in the Greenbrier State Forest on the Old Fields Trail.

The Greenbrier State Forest is located near Lewisburg and White Sulphur Springs. From Interstate 64 east or west, take Exit 175 (White Sulphur Springs) and follow signs 1 1/2 miles to the forest. You can also take Route 60 which is close to the location of the first two stages of the cache stright past Caldwell toward White Sulpher Spring to the Forest.

If you want a moderately easy hike you can park at the overflow camping area - the Old Fields trail starts at the metal gate. If you want a moderately challenging hike, you can start at the Youngs Nature Trail Sign which will lead you to the Old Fields Trail.
