searching_simpsons: I hate to archive this cache because the cacher, who attended church with me, has passed and his memory lived on with his caches. HOWEVER, the park district has removed this baseball diamond and the fence and fence post where this cache was. The theme and original intent is gone.

This cache is so named in honor of
Mickey Charles Mantle
and the 556 times he hit one
over the fence.
536 regular season, 18 World Series
and 2 All Star Games.
Actually he only hit 550 over the fence:
6 were inside the park. For that I take my
cap off.
