Located at the the Environmental Learning Center (ELC) in Wabasso.This cache listing has been approved by ELC management.
The ELC is privately owned non-profit environmental education facility that has regular children’s programs run in cooperation with Indian River county schools.Memberships and donations accountfor 80% of operating expenses. The ELC runs numerous nature walks,birding trips, canoe trips,night star gazing, fun days, etc. opento anyone interested. There is a small gift shop called Nature Nook on site. For ELC information on tours and events go to: http://www.elcweb.org/. The cache is a regular size container and should have room for a few travel bugs (tb). Make sure and cover cache with natural cover or it will quickly dissappear. If you don’t have a tb or another trade item most definitely come anyway, sign onlys are welcome.This is a great place to visit and the 51 acre campus has wellmarked hiking trails and many plants/trees identified with signs. If you have time stop in the entry pavilon and say hello, it is located next to the listed parking lot.
