A "hidden treasure" in the middle of logging roads and dirt bike trails.
This area is a local favorite for dirt bikers, mountain bikers, equestrians, and hikers. It is a "working forest" (some portion is nearly always being logged), but is open to recreational use. (At the time the cache was placed, whether or not dirt bikes would continue to be allowed was up for debate). To find the "hidden treasure" you will have to navigate a plethora of trails and logging roads. The area itself is accessible from at least four parking areas; there may be others of which I am not aware. The closest parking will lead you to the cache in under a mile. While I am continually saddened by the effects of clear cutting on the land, I appreciate the local timber company's willingness to open its land to recreational use, and am excited when I find a green area in the midst of the debris.
