Geocache Description:

Forest City is located on beautiful East Grand Lake. You can drive to the cache, which is hidden near the water, but not in the water. The cache is small containing a log and pencil, and some small Girl Scout Swaps. Bring a picnic lunch, a fishing pole, and a bathing suit. It's a beautiful spot.

Forest City is approximately 110 miles from Bangor. Follow Interstate 95 from Bangor to Lincoln. From Lincoln take Route 6 to Topsfield. From Topsfield take Route 1 to Brookton, Maine. At the Brookton intersection, take the Forest City Road for the 12 mile trip.
From the north, take Route 1 out of Houlton and proceed south to Brookton, Maine. At the Brookton intersection, take the Forest City Road for 12 miles.
Hint: If you cross the border to Canada, you'd gone too far.
