Geocache Description:

What's this, you may ask? Click on picture and you have a Treasure Island map! In the olden days caches were found with old hand drawn maps - this is one of them. Try and see if you can find this cache the traditional way! The above coordinates takes you to one of the two bridges to Hanover Island, which is wheelchair accessible. Access to the island can be made from 5am - dusk

In 1811 the sailing ship, 'Hanover' foundered on the shores of this island. The crew salvage the valuables, but not all of it could be taken away together. So, a cache of treasure was hidden on the island and mapped. But, the map was lost and the cache remained hidden ever since on Hanover Island - so the story goes. You have now found that map, see if you can find the cache! But, watch out for the Muggle Pirates!
