Geocache Description:

The first in a series of caches each holding a clue leading you to the bonus cache.You do not have to go through gate.

The Bywater trail is set along the river and lakes of the village of Allerton Bywater, Near Castleford.
It is a pleasant walk along the banks of the river and through woods around Lowther lake, which is
home to many a happy fisherman. It is popular with dog walkers and cyclists, although if taking
the bike there are two kissing gates to negotiate. It is recommended all parts of the series are done in
order plus Bonus. Parking is closest to part one at
N 53 44.926 W 001 22.534

Bywater trail Bonus cache
Each cache has part co ordinates for the bonus cache which completes the trail.
The trail is between four and five miles long (four if you go around the back of the lake on the way
back there are a couple of paths between parts 4 and 2)
please do the bonus it is not far from part 4 and the view is well worth the effort.
