Bywater trail bonus cache Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Dalesman: This cache has been in need of care and maintenance for some time and as the owner has not repaired it I am archiving it.

Guidelines: "You are responsible for occasional visits to your cache to maintain proper working order, especially when someone reports a problem with the cache (missing, damaged, wet, etc.). You may temporarily disable your cache to let others know not to search for it until you have a chance to fix the problem. This feature is to allow you a reasonable amount of time - normally a few weeks - in which to check on your cache. If a cache is not being maintained, or has been temporarily disabled for an unreasonable length of time, we may archive the listing."

If you wish to contact me about this cache please use my Email address below my signature and quote the GC number of the cache. Please note this system is not infallible and I may miss any such mail.

Many thanks,

Geocache Description:

The above co ordinates are not the cache location but a place to rest while you put the clues together

The bonus cache is the last in the series, to reach this cache you will need to cross the river by bridge, you will see this bridge from part 4 of the series, you can head direct to cache but it is quite steep, an alternative route is to go to the above co ordinates first and walk up from there. From near the bonus cache location you can look over the nearby bird reserve due to open soon, this used to be St Aidens opencast coal mine. Please note you must cross back over the river by the bridge to return to starting point as it is the only crossing point on this stretch of river. It is worth taking some bread as when crossing the bridge always appreciate tit bits.
The caches in this series are
Bywater trail part 1
Bywater trail part 2
Bywater trail part 3
Bywater trail part 4
Bywater trail bonus cache
Each cache has part co ordinates for the bonus cache which completes the trail. The trail is between 4 & 5 miles long depending on which way you go back.
