Geocache Description:

A cache that fills a dual role.

We have all seen cache names that have hidden meanings beyond what you would expect. There is the meaning we are led to believe, and another meaning which is less obvious to the reader. These may contain a clue to the cache, or a secret message which has meaning only to another person, or a small group of people.

The name of this cache has two meanings. The first being something that the families of those interred here may have said to those who now rest in this place. As my parents siblings age and pass from this life, I find myself saying this more and more often. Uncle, Aunt, Mother. We can choose to mourn their passing, or we can celebrate their lives by keeping alive the memories they gave us, and the ways in which they shaped our lives.

The second meaning for this name is to thank Sue and Barry, also known as Doc Geo and wife, for the use of thier home and land for a celebration of my 5,000 cache finds. They worked very hard to make sure that we would all share the happy memories of that event. I know I will.

With this in mind, Thanks for the Memories!!

The cache is a waterproof floating tube hidden in the parking lot of the Dixon Prairie Cemetery. Although the cache is not in the cemetery, please be respectful of the neighbors to the area and to the families of the residents of the cemetery and only search for this during daylight hours.
