Geocache Description:

The Container is 8" tall, 2" diameter and plastic.There is a nice parking spot at 35* 44.701N - 118* 24.851W.

This Cache comemorates our families second anual Fourth of July Family Campout. This was our first time visiting Lake Isabella. We had a superb vacation enjoying biking, swimming, fishing, camping, hiking and of coarse GEO-CACHING.
On a trip in to Kernville we saw this beautifull mountainside strewn with giant chunky boulders with many deep cracks and crags. We pulled over to climb this jungle gym of rock. This cache is perched on a nice sunny shelf that we stopped on to eat drink and bake (106*). What a beautiful place to ground and soak in the majesty of the southern Sierras..... and do a cache.
I would also like to extend a special thanx to Mr. and Mrs. Bill Whities (muggles) of the Kernville historical meuseum (GCPV00) for going above and beyond the call of duty and showing us that true red white and blue americans still do exist and making a wonderfull family trip one to last in our memories for ever.
