The cache is an ammo box placed just off the Cold Springs trail on Monte Sano. Easiest parking is along Fearn St. Information about the area and the spring is posted near the parking site, and trail maps of the area can be found/downloaded at briartech.com.
Difficult GPSr coverage (only one of the two units I normally use could even get a fix), so you may have to expand the search. The walk from parking to the cache site is easy and is along a well kept trail. Near the cache is a mild climb that could be slippery, especially if it is wet. Watch out for snakes, ticks, poison ivy, and other such hazards.
