Lemon Fresh Dog: And..... the end of an era.

This cache was so successful it is a shame to see it go.
The Center is closing at the end of the month - so the cache has to go. Chances are that I won't find a safe location too close to the old center, so it's archive for this one.

We'll save any travellers and trade items and place them into another cache.

Geocache Description:

AVAILABLE FROM 9am to 4:30PM ONLY! (summer hours) or 11am-4:30 (fall hours) Welcome to Calgary! There are TWO logbooks: One for "locals" and one for "visitors" --please sign the appropriate book. This means this cache has TWO FTF's!

Have you ever been caching while on a business trip and been surrounded by nothing but micro caches? To each their own, but it's pretty hard to shove a Travel Bug -- or even a geocoin, into a micro or nano cache! However, downtown caches are often tough to hide and disapear more often.....what to do?....what to do?..... The Calgary Outdoor Resource Center to the rescue! They have graciously agreed to allow us to place the cache inside the resource center (do you still need a hint?) and it is safe and sound. Serving two purposes: it allows visitors to get vital information on the outdoors here in Calgary and it allows us to promote geocaching to our community. Their $2 Bike Path map is a must-have item. Please be nice to the staff and represent the hobby well! LOCALS! -- make this a nice cache -- this is a chance to show off Calgary to visitors, so I hope we can all make it a worthwhile find. On placement I put in many Travel Bugs and coins, plus I also put in some Geocaching Themed items (patch, sticker, pin). VISITORS! -- Drop and take those Travel Bugs on their missions! The cache seems to be pretty stuffed. So don't be shy. This is NOT a Travel Bug prison -- if you can help them all - take them all!
