We've done a handful of picto-caches and always enjoy them a great deal! We decided to try our luck with one, and this is the result. Hope you enjoy it!
Havelock is a small town within a city in the Northeast part of Lincoln. It has its own business district, parks, and personality. This picto-cache will take you on a quick walking tour through the area. If you have time, there are some great places to eat --- including Misty's (nationally known for their prime rib), the Isles (a pub with great pizza), the Engine House (a restaurant housed in an old fire station) to name a few.
The starting coordinates will take you to the recommended parking area to get you started. From that point, you will use the pictures below to direct you to the cache. Please keep in mind that you may have to step a couple of feet this way or that when looking for the next clue. Some of the photos have been taken at a different angle than you may see them from your position. Most have been cropped to make them a bit more difficult to identify. Some are close up shots --- others may be taken from a couple of blocks away. But --- hopefully by following this trail of images, you'll be able to locate the cache. The cache container is a bison tube with a log, but you'll need to bring your own pen/pencil. The tour will likely take between 30-45 minutes --- depending upon how sharp your eye is and how fast you walk! Have fun!
