Geocache Description:

JOHN’S DIAMOND

This cache is in honor of two guys named John who LOVE baseball! One is 7, the other is not! One grew up following the Senators and waited a LONG TIME for baseball to come back to D.C. The other was lucky enough to have a hometown team to cheer for at age 5.

The location of this cache is near where a wonderful class of preschoolers had fun playing baseball one October thanks to one devoted dad. It was a memorable event for me (their teacher) and I wanted to place my first cache near by.

FIRST TO FIND CLAIMED THE FOLLOWING
1-- Washington Nationals baseball cards
2-- Washington Nationals Dog Tag with chain
3--“Where’s George” dollar bills -- if you take these please log them at wheresgeorge.com and send on their way!!

Note -- Cache is small so bring small kid-oriented items to trade! Muggles are about but shouldn’t be a problem! PLEASE BE SURE TO SNAP ALL 4 FLAPS DOWN BEFORE YOU LEAVE SO WE CAN KEEP THE CACHE DRY!

This cache was muggled in October 2006 so please leave it hidden better than you found it. Leaves can be used as a cover. The zip lock bag is used for an extra layer of protection.

PLAY BALL!
