That darn road! Traditional Cache

Terrain level is 2-3 depending on what time of year it is, the road can be pretty bad. Otherwise easy access to cache.
OK, I HATE this road. For one - I wish they would pave it. It cuts about 2 miles off of my drive to work but the condition can vary from washboard on a good day to abysmal muck and major potholes on bad days.
As I was driving down the road I thought I forgot something - so I hopped out (car still running) popped my trunk, shut my door and went to check. As I slammed the trunk and went back to my door, I discovered that my car had auto-locked behind me - still running. Cell phone was in the car... and I was in the middle of a back country road with dusk rapidly approaching. Some nice man let me use his cell to call for help, but while I was waiting I found a good cache spot. [:-)]
My boyfriend finally came and opened the car! A nice older couple across the road insisted that I wait at their place for them so the coyotes wouldn't eat me. LOL. It's amazing how caring people can be!
