Placed along one of the many trails on and around Monte Sano. You can find maps of many of the northern Alabama hiking trails at briartech.com.
Park at the red gate on Fearn St. The cache is reached after a short, easy walk of less than 0.1 mile. Along this trail, you will find posted information about some of the local arborescent species. The trail continues to and beyond the Cold Springs.
Please observe carefully how the cache was placed and replace it in the same manner. When replacing the inner cache in the outer, line it up so you see "green" in the slot.
Bring a pen/pencil to sign the log. Difficulty raised to 3.5 on August 26, 2006.
