Geocache Description:

This cache is one of many that has been set for the 5th Scottish Cache Bash – Gathering in the Glens. Page released early so you can plan your route. Cache not available for logging until Saturday 9th September.

A gentle walk along a farm track which can get muddy in wet weather. Two farm gates to negotiate.

This track takes you to a ruined chapel, totally hidden by a thick hedge of Yew Trees. It can be accessed through a small wooden gate just past the chapel, or over the broken down old wire fence. Look out for the friendly deer along the way.

Take time to explore around this ruin, which although appears dark and gloomy from the outside, houses a peaceful interior shrouded in ivy and bracken within its crumbling walls.

Please watch for the old rusty barbed wire on the ground as you approach the cache, which is along the fenceline outside the thick barrier of Yew Trees.
