My first ever placing of a cache. It is in a very interesting location where you may want to have a stroll around or just take in the lovely views across to Liverpool (from here you can watch the planes take off and land from Liverpool John Lennon airport)
Close by is the boat museum of Ellesmere Port, steeped in history and housing the worlds largest floating collection of inland waterways craft. More info can be found at www.boatmuseum.org.uk
This site occupies the entrance of the Shropshire Union canal to the Manchester Ship Canal.
Parking is within a couple of steps and readily available during the day.
It is suitable for pushchairs but please keep an eye on small children due to the close proximity of the canal.
Please replace the cache exactly where you find it!!!
