This cache is located out on the "Beamer". The Beamer is the flat peninsula of land that gives Flatrock its name. It juts out in to the Atlantic for approximately one kilometre. It offers an enjoyable hike where you can appreciate the sea, its smells and sounds. On occasion you can see whales. The path is not rigorous, but gets rocky towards the end. Be careful of slipping if the rock surfaces are wet. You should look approximately 20 feet towards the water from the given coordinates.
The cache is a larger plastic green thermos with a white screw top. The original contents are:
1 tire guage key chain
2 Coast Guard pens
4 spiral key chains
2 flashlight key chains
2 Town of Torbay lapel pins
1 Town of Torbay pin on button
1 set ear phones
1 piece Labradorite
You can park your vehicle at the end of Wades Lane in a gravel area. Please do not park in any place that would hinder the local residents.
There is also an old bunker fortification from one of the World Wars to explore.
If the weather is stormy, be very careful! Maybe even leave this cache for another day. However, on a clear day, the view is spectacular.
