Geocache Description:

The SQ in the cache name above signifies Spirit Quest, a project started by the Northwest Ohio Geocachers to distinguish those caches that are set in cemeteries or memorial gardens. I feel this is a good distinction to put on this type of cache and would like to see it used here in Michigan. Please be respectful of the area, and observe their rules and posted hours, Michigan law states that you are only permitted to visit cemeteries dawn to dusk through out the state unless posted.

This cache is located in Millar Cemetery.

DO NOT attempt this cache at night.

Cady’s Corner was a town within Clinton Twp which existed between 1864 and 1906. Miller Cemetery has Section 30 which is referred to as Miller/Cady’s Corners "The village of Cady, or Cady's Corner, was a small settlement composed chiefly of German farmers and their families, dating from 1834. It is on Clinton River, in the center of a rich agricultural region, about seventeen miles above Detroit, five southwest of Mt. Clemens, the county seat, and near Fraser Station, on the Grand Trunk Railway, to which depot goods should be shipped. Most of the graves in this cemetery date back to the mid 1800’s. This is a unique place of our local history, and well worth the time to stop and look. This cemetery is on the endangered cemetery list, so please help any way you can to leave it better then you found it.

The cache is now a small size Container. The grounds through the cemetery are easy walking. The entrance to the best parking is at N 42.34.060 W 82.58.063. The mosquitoes are heavy here. Bring your deet.

DEET IS YOUR FRIEND.
