Heritage Cache #4 - I seen 'em!

It doesn't look like much around here, but surprises abound! Artesians, little people of most any description, seen only by rednecks in old Oly commercials, come up through Artesian wells at night and cause all manner of mischief in the streets of downtown Olympia. Finding the cache should be easy, if you're willing to take chances.
Artesian water is groundwater under pressure that flows naturally to the surface when a well is drilled into the aquifer.
The pressure is created by a confining layer of silt and clay soil called an aquitard.
The artesian well conditions exist throughout downtown Olympia, which once was home to more than 90 artesian wells.
Water samples taken in March 2005 from wells and a local restaurant showed the water to be 1,700 to 3,400 years old, which means it entered the aquifer long before industrial-age pollutants existed.
So the water won't kill you. But watch out for the little guys...
