With Kent being one of the largest local authorities in the country, with thousands of people working in and around the Maidstone area, there is a great demand for lunches.
This cache was designed to try and meet some of that demand. Being close at hand, between the council offices it allows the opportunity to try something new for lunch. It was to provide, menus from local restaurants, business cards of coffee bars, recipes for packed lunches. Or if not food related, puzzles to do during lunch.
Due to the area being very busy during the day I have reduced the size of the cache, which is better hidden and will enable the cache to be collected and replaced with more ease. I suggest that when found you walk off to log your visit then walk past again to replace it.
This cache is in a busy area and better visited early, before 8.00am as there are fewer muggers.
Parking is close by either at the White Rabbit a very nice restaurant/pub with friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere or at the Railway Station car park however this is expensive.
