This cache is part of our Drive in the Country Series. We frequent these roads and enjoy getting off of the beaten path. These caches are intended to provide a relaxing diversion. We have left plenty of room for other cachers to place caches if they are so inclined.
This cache is available 9 AM to 9 PM each day except Sunday when it is 12 PM to 9 PM.
This area has been around since 1922. After you pass the Garden of Victory, the residents here only ask for peace and quiet. We were sitting in traffic waiting on road construction and we pulled in here for a break. We thought, what a great spot for a cache. The swag in this cache begins as Texas themed items including a Texas $50. Happy trails.
