Geocache Description:

Yes, I kinda, sorta, oughta (closely related to woulda, coulda, shoulda) quit chewing Altoids gum. It’s an addiction, almost as bad as those for chocolate and geocaching. As a way to recycle those little tins, I’ll bring you to some places I am addicted to visiting. So take a deep breath, relax, and plan on just strolling to find these caches and get notches on your geocaching belt for pleasant visits.

This spot brings back incredible memories for me.

It’s the first place that a diving buddy and I collected an octopus for display at the Seattle Aquarium.  You don’t know what fun is until you manage to get a 35 pound octopus into a goodie bag!  (They stopped collecting animals at this site many years ago.)

There is an incredible wall running parallel to the shoreline that is a great place for all sorts of creatures to be living.

Another diving buddy of mine was writing a book for divers, and we dove this site a number of times to learn the pattern of currents here.  Yes, that’s me on the cover of the book if you know it, and also on the inside pages playing with wolf eels and octopuses.

When I was driving here last week, I realized that this place holds only happy memories for me, so decided to place an Addiction Cache here.  For those of you who don’t dive, just looking at the scenery is delightful, and at low tide you can enjoy walking on the beach.
