Geocache Description:

A smiley covered ammo can honoring those with 1000 finds.

This cache is located in Black Hills Regional Park. We recommend parking at the boat ramp parking lot. Just follow the signs.

In Illinois there is a tradition that we have thought is pretty neat. Anytime a geocacher in the Chicago-land area reaches a 1000 geocache find milestone, a new geocache is placed in their honor. It could be their first 1000, or their 21K. Recently some good friends of ours have reached this milestone. But instead of honoring just one geocacher id, we wanted to put out a cache in honor of all those that have reached this milestone.

So if you have 1000 smilies to your credit, this cache is honoring you and your achievement.

However, you do not have to have 1000 finds to get this cache. But you will find out what 1000 smilies look like because the ammo box you are looking for is decorated with 1000 smilies. The contents are kid friendly and smiley themed.
