Geocache Description:

Located in Tekakwitha Woods this is not too far off the trail. Can get steep at times.

This Tekakwitha Woods hide is our first. This forest preserve is a nice hike through the woods to get to the nature center and will continue down to the Fox River. (Be on the look-out for poison ivy and stinging nettle.) Please take time to visit the nature center and enjoy the educational fun they have waiting for you. The nature center is air conditioned/heated, has restrooms and offers water.

The cache includes a first finder's prize, small toys including "Creature Kids". These are small animals of all colors my children enjoy collecting and we have made them our trademark geocaching item. Enjoy the cache!
