Where's the Water? Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

OReviewer: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

This cache will bring you to a gazebo located in Shippensburg. Though it would seem by looking around that this small park is simply an attempt at keeping the area attractive, this is actually a very important historic site. The gazebo marks the spot of a spring that provided the water for the original settlers of Shippensburg.

The cache contains only a log sheet, so please bring your own pen. If you find it necessary to look in any plants, please be gentle. There is no need to go diving into any plants (unlike some of my other caches).

Parking is on the street only. To the north-west of the park is a lot, however it is private parking for cars with permits only.

FTF will be entered into a drawing to win a $25.00 gift card to Best Buy! (drawing will be made up of the FTFs for all of the 8 "Cache the History of Shippensburg" caches!)
