Located at the site of a plane crash. The last 0.1 mile is steep and rocky.
On June 6, 1972 a single engine plane crashed and the pilot perished. Over the years small parts have been taken from the crash site leaving large sections of the fuselage, wings and tail sections. The cache can be accessed from any of the four trails that reach the summit of Belknap Mountain. The last 0.1 mile is along a steep rocky footpath that is poorly marked. The cache is in a small tuperware container that included several stickers, a majic towel, several coupons and small toys. The 343 travel bug was also placed in the cache.
