Enjoyable hike down an established hiking path... the cache is off the trail so bring your bug spray. Terrain is not challenging, all ages can find this cache. Enjoy!
Take a nice drive up the Elliott Highway to Olnes Pond... this would be a great cache to go along with a camping trip at the Olnes Pond Campground. Although it's a somewhat popular place and wouldn't be a place to go for solitude and quiet, it's a great family place to spend some time on a beautiful secluded lake.
There are numerous items in this cache including a wonderful first to find prize you can redeem on your way home. Also included are POWMIA Coin 003 and Travelling Civil War Ft. Sumter Coin #01
Drive out the Olnes Pond Road to the end and park. Travel on foot down the walking trail where you'll see a nice calm clear stream on one side... to enjoy as you search for this cache. Have fun.... please take a photo of yourself here and log the number of the picture. Thanks.
