status quo: As this cache has been out of action for too long and the cache owner has not responded or performed any maintenance, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to un-archive it.

This is a walk around an often missed, delightful, small bush reserve, (I'Anson Reserve) which is at Te Puna on SH2 at the start of Loop Road. The terrain is easy, muddy in places in winter, and all waypoints are hidden within easy reach of the tracks.
Start at the car park at S:37 41.769 E:176 03.888.
Facing the pond take the track which starts over the wooden footbridge to your left. Follow the track to the first waypoint as above.[don't stir your tea with a fork]. The waypoint co-ordinates are hidden in 35mm film cannisters along with a hint. There are 5 in all plus the cache itself.
PLEASE NOTE. The 3rd waypoint is now placed in a nest above the sign. Co-ordinates will get you to the same place but you will have to search "higher". (Original place too exposed and vandalised)
The cache when placed contained:- Log book, pencil, sharpener, stash note, key ring, airfreshener, whistle, tape measure, makeup remover, batteries(AA), map pins, Stapler. The cache container is a well labelled, camoflaged, 1.5 litre food container. PLEASE replace carefully. Thankyou.
PLEASE CAREFULLY REPLACE THE CO-ORDINATES BACK INTO THE CONTAINERS, SEAL AND RE-HIDE AS FOUND. THANKYOU.
PLEASE also respect the reserve as it is maintained by voluntary workers and is boardered by private properties.
