Just a couple miles past Grass Lake on Hwy 97 turn on USFS R. 70 to Martins Creek Dairy Campground (12.5 Miles in - the first 6.5 are gravel/dirt). If not parking in the campground there is a day use area less than 1/2 mile back. Cache is about 500 Yds from the Bridge next to the campground. Look downstream for the path of least resistance, when you find the cow gate you are nearly there.
Bring your fishing pole, or better yet your tent and stay a day or two! This is a beautiful area with a babbling brook and mountain meadow that has to be seen to be fully appreciated. Horseback camping is available also. Better bring some bug spray too, just in case.
