Geocache Description:

A leafy, little-used spot of public land hidden amongst the mansions.

In the early days of Sydney's history, this whole area was known as Vinegar Hill. Governor Macquarie thought the name "Vinegar Hill" too vulgar and replaced it with the name this beautiful suburb now bears.
Our first ever hide, nothing too tricky about this one.Inside you'll find a logbook, swaps and some historical notes about the area. Enjoy the views!
