Once an ancient rainforest and now a birdwatcher's favourite, this 5 stage adventure provides a great chance to get up close with the local wildlife.
Expect to see all sorts of birdlife, including grebes,pelicans, sea eagles, black ducks, superb fairy wrens, black swans and moorhens.
Also, during the warmer months, there are abundant large skinks sunning themselves on the rocks, water dragons and long-neck turtles - and also the occasional red-bellied black snake - so be aware !
Parking is safest away from the main thoroughfare (go down Glenbrook Drive).
