Jorekstad er det eldste forsamlingshuset som i dag er i bruk i Lillehammer kommune.
Det ble bygd i 1895. Opprinnelig var navnet Friheim.
Fra å være en liten stue som huset juletrefester, dansefester, musikkøvelser og foreningsarbeid, ble det etter hvert utvidet til kinosal, kaf’e og kjøkken. Kinoen var i drift til langt ut i 1970 årene.
Den store forandringen kom da Fåbergs nye idrettsanlegg ble tatt i bruk 1957. Svømmehallen og Idrettshallen ble tatt i bruk til St. hans 1985.
Til OL ble det utvidelse av idrettshallen, ny kaf'e og nye hytter.
St.Hansaften 2006 ble det nye utendørs svømmeanlegget innviet, det blir Opplands største.

Jorekstad is the oldest public house in Lillehammer community, which is still open.
The real name was Friheim, and it got build in 1895.
The place was a small cabin where they hold Christmas parties, dancing at Saturday’s night, music practice and union work. Some years later they built a bigger house until the small one and they install cinema and café. The new sports area got ready in 1957. An indoor swimming pool got finish in 1985. When Lillehammer got the Olympic winter games in 1994 they built bigger café bigger sports hall and cabins for rent. In June 23. They open a new large outdoor swimming pool, and that ‘s the largest one in whole Oppland community.
