Park by the gate on Hospital Road. It is an easy walk in. The lake is open to the public for fishing, summer and winter. It is a great spot for Northern, Bass, Sunfish and an occasional walleye. In the winter, xc skiers often find the lake to be a ready surface, before there is snow on the trail! Stealth is required as muggles are often about!
This is one of three independent caches located on one square mile of property, owned by Hayward Area Memorial Hospital, whose administration has approved these caches and encourages the publics recreational/non-motorized use of the land. The cache is a camouflage plastic container filled with a variety of little surprises!
