THIS IS THE HEADQUARTERS OF STARFLEET COMMAND.

The following message has just been received from the USS Enterprise.

>>>>>>>>>Signal>>>>>>SqTwJeErRtOyMuEi0o7p2172837415865748<<<<<<<<<<<< Captain's Log Supplemental...Stardate 504507800254762.

To The Supreme Commander Starfleet.

I am retired former Captain James Kirk and together with my pensioned off crew, I requisitioned our old ship for one final mission.

Our mission was not easy. It took us through the hazardous Eckington forcefield, the nebulus of Lactodorum and the fully uncloaked warrior class Deceangi that we encountered, was not a pretty sight. Lieutenant Uhura had to put up the shields quickly.

By Stardate +0.14/375/253/902 as you read this message, it will be over and we will have disappeared--as will the casket of priceless 21st century souvenirs that you kept in your personal safe. We were surprised to find security so lax, especially in these days of heightened terrorist alert but we were able to complete our mission and take off totally unchallenged.

Why did we do it? Let us just say that we didnt feel that our severance packages were as full as they should have been, given the ratings that we brought you. To substitute us for a bald headed Shakesperean actor, an android from Omicron Theta and above all a Klingon just added insult to injury.

The miserable pensions didnt go very far and we were all forced into taking unsuitable jobs. Mr Spock did voice over work and Mr Checkov wrote plays. I am even forced to advertise breakfast cereal.

We have taken enough from the casket for the immediate needs of the crew and have left the remainder on the planet Earth in the year 2006 where its full value will not be recognised. To find the best hiding place we went to the source of the treasure. We transported down to a few locations but they were unsuitable. Then we found the ideal spot.

You will remember how famous my logs used to be on the Enterprise. If you can find them now, they will tell you all that you need to know to get back your goods.

The crew didnt want me to give you a clue but I was always a fair man. I will therefore say you could try mixing the correct parts of :- einsteinium; lead; iron; flourine; osmium; radium; potassium; yttrium and mercury.
