Geocache Description:

Located in State Forest Land.

Congratulations to Nature Noggins and Szuchie on the First to Find!!

Nice short hike that will take you over a bridge used by snowmobilers in the winter. You can see the wear on the bridge from the picks. We have come through here several times on our sleds and have contributed to the wear on that bridge! Very nice area for camping if you are into that wilderness thing with no facilities. Don't be surprised to see campers on the drive in as it is a popular place. You'll also notice that some people just don't pick up after themselves so you might want to CITO in this area. I'm sure the park rangers will appreciate it. Now, a little history about the area based on what I've been told since I was a child. Lost Nation was once inhabited by a tribe of Indians. For some unknown reason, they disappeared with little trace and their disappearance still remains a mystery today. As always, please place the cache back as you found it or better and happy hunting!
