Geocache Description:


This cache is located at the Wegerzyn Garden Center. 5 Rivers Metro Parks has reccently put a lot of money and time into this part of the garden to make it kid friendly. They have many things for the kids to do there and all kinds of plants and flowers. Each section has a theme. Your kids might want to get wet from the snake fountains or walk in the rocky stream so bring something they can get wet in. They have a small bush maze for them to walk through, they can plant plants in the sand box, walk through a little cave and more. Let them bang on the big turtle to see what kind of sounds it makes. For you if you like plants I saw all kinds that I had never seen before. I think it's a good place to spend a little time and enjoy the beauty of nature. I wonder how they can keep them flowers all blooming. What I liked and want to see when it grows a lot more is in the roof covered in all different kinds of mosses and probably other plants. I also had to look at the fish in the small pond. the fish even came up to look at me! Like they say "If you haven't been there latley, you haven't been there."
Park at the South end of the centers parking lot to get closer to the cache. You will walk in the mowed grass past the circle of trees and the cache is about 13 feet in the woods.
