Geocache Description:

THIS CACHE WILL BE ARCHIVED AT THE END OF OCTOBER
This 2-staged multi-cache was placed in memory of Norwegianbird's dog, Bo Diddly (BoDee for short), a Saint Bernard mix who passed away in April, 2006. It's less than 0.3 miles on flat terrain with trails most of the way, and a little bushwacking on both stages, including thorns from black raspberry bushes near the final. The final is a plastic jar with a logbook and some small trade items.

HINTS ARE IN THIS STORY:

This was a typical round of exercise for BoDee and the person he owned, Norwegianbird. They went to this park quite often, and BoDee had his regular route with all his little routines included.

Norwegianbird preferred the main trails, but since BoDee was such a beast, she was forced to stick to the meadow trail.

On some occasions, as they reached the meadow trail, he was so intent on chasing rabbits, that he dragged NB into the brush to a place where he kept his secret stash of balls under small trees. She eventually assumed control of his reins, oops, I mean leash, and back towards the parking lot they headed.

They made it back, and were heading east towards the park entrance when he broke away into a small clearing in the brush to chase a squirrel. Lucky for the squirrel, BoDee couldn't reach it as it crawled under thick bark at the base of a tree because of all the thorny raspberry bushes inhibiting his reach. Finally, they made it out of the park and onward to home.
