located at a public access site overlooking a place to get really good steamer pots and key lime pie!
We had a family member who passed away on March 9, 2003 from a fast growing cancer. When there was nothing left the doctors could do, they sent her home with a 3-6 month timeline. She only made it one week. She was an extremely wonderful person, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. We as a family would like to fulfill her last wishes. When she was released from the hospital, she wanted to experience a few last things before her time on earth was done. She loved hiking and cooking hot dogs (she called them "gourmet") over an open fire and every year she went with family to Anna Maria Island and loved to walk the beach, dig up sand dollars,loved peel and eat shrimp and ride bikes out to Bean Point. So as a tribute to her, our family placed a geocache in honor and memory of her at a favorite state forest in Indiana and on Anna Maria Island. The trinkets inside: The trinkets are ocean/ tropical related. There is a local cacher who is gracious enough to look after our cache when we are not down there. In the geocache at the state forest in Indiana we placed a travel bug "Sonny" to go from Indiana to this geocache on the Island. Thank you for helping us fulfill her last wishes. (this cache is to replace the one (Myrna's Treasure Island) on Bean Point that had been taken twice.
