Geocache Description:


Vordenstein is een orangerie met een sterk geometrische dreven structuur. Het is gebouwd op de plaats waar vroeger het afgebroken parkkasteel (foto) stond. De ingangspoort is er nog wel.  Aan de rand van het park staat nog een kleine kapel (1436). Rond 1800 is men met de aanleg begonnen in dit Engelse 'country-style' park van de orangerie. Dit is nu een juweeltje voor planten- en tuinliefhebbers. Regelmatig zijn er dan ook beurzen en evenementen. Mocht de tuin je interesseren, voorzie dan extra tijd.
Praktische informatie: Parkeren in de Kopstraat te Schoten. GEEN honden noch fietsen. Het domein sluit bij zonsondergang (zie foto openingsuren). De wandeling is 2,5km. Om de STACH te bereiken ga je terug in de orangerie en verlaat deze aan de ingang naast het gebouw (klauter dus niet over omheiningen) want dan ben je geBUISd.

English: Vordenstein is an orangerie from around 1800 build on the demolished castle (picture). There is also an old chappel (1436) at the border of this park. If one is interessed in gardening, do take some extra time to walk trough the orangerie. Dogs and bike are NOT allowed. The park closes in the evening (see picture). The walk is 2.5 km and mainly park lanes. To reach the STACH go back in the garden and leave the place via the entrance at the building (don't go over the fence).
Het afgebroken kasteel

Op de tag staat een letter A B C of D en een 2de letter E F G of H. Zo weet je het vierkantje waarin je iets moet noteren. Op de tag staat nog een derde letter N O Z of W. De aangeduide richting moet bovenaanliggen. Als vierde staat er een cijfer; deel van de coordinaat.
Voorbeeld:  " D F O 5 " wijst naar de vierde kolom (D) en de tweede rij (F). Draai zodat Oosten boven ligt. Noteer de 5 daar. Als gevolg van afdrukafwijkingen is het waarschijnlijk dat de SLEUTEL niet volledig past op jouw papier. Dit zou echter geen probleem mogen zijn om de cijfers in de goede volgorde te vinden.

On the tags there are 4 digits: first a A B C or D, second a E F G or H. With this information you know the square to note the figure down. The 3th digit is the direction that must be on top It is N O(east) Z(south) or W. Now one can write the 4th digit.
Example: " D F O 5 " is the 4th colom D and the 2th row (F). Turn it so O (east) is up; Note down the 5. Due to printing differences the KEY and your printout might not match. If fact this can't give no problem to find the figures.
