Geocache Description:


If you like Rock and Roll music, the Rolling stones, and are "Born to Run"(Geocache), you will enjoy the Hard Rock CD Exchange. Here you'll find a nice selection of CD'S to exchange. This cache contains is a variety of music for everyone to enjoy from Rock to Jazz.

The Hard Rock Cache is located in Tourne Park, Boonton, and is one of New Jersey's, The Garden State’s gems, currently embracing 546.9 acres, including a wildflower trail with nearly 250 species of native plants. The highlight of a trip to Tourne Park continues to be the view from the top, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the New York City skyline. Besides offering hiking trails, traversing hills strewn with huge granite boulders, there are picnic sites, equestrian trails, ball fields, and in the winter, cross-country skiing.

The Hard Rock cache is located at the 800 ft.elevation level, so plan accordingly for this hike.

Please follow the CD Exchange Rules:

1. If you don't have a CD to exchange, do not take one, you are free to sign the logbook as "TNLN".

2. Please trade CD'S one for one.

3. Please include in your log what CD you took and exchanged.

4. If you can, be creative with your post, add a song title which pertains to the outdoors, Example: "Down by the river", "Jungleland" etc...

4. Feel free to visit as often as you like to trade CD'S. Log a note on subsequent visits.

5. Trade items and travel bugs are also welcome in this cache. Please try to stay within the music theme and trade some type of music: CD, tapes, sheet music etc.

There is a small CD case as the FTF prize.
