We wanted people to come to this historic location where the
first Sandy school once stood. First it was the Sandy school, then
a library, and then a senior citizen center.
Our son placed a flagpole for the senior center as his Eagle
Scout project at this location; however the center no longer exists
and the flagpole is gone. Now there is a monument at the location
for the Sons of the Utah Pioneers. Try to check out the West side
of the monument for information on the first Sandy school.
Please bring a writing stick to log your visit. There is a bus
stop close by, so this could be a busy area; use stealth and watch
out for those snoopy eyes. A parking lot is located West of the
cache.
