Urban Oasis Multi-Cache
Kiama Krew: I went back to mark-up the waypoints and noticed lots of muggles near the trampoline (near GZ) which will only become more popular when the warm weather arrives - so it will need to be relocated again. But as my geo-kids are now geo-adults and their interest in maintaining our geocaches wanes each year, it's time to archive another one of our geocaches.
I'm glad so many people enjoyed this geocache over the past 14 years.

This multi-cache meanders through a nice bushy park in downtown suburbia. Often frequented by muggles so be on your guard at all times. It's a nice spot and we're told not many locals even know about it.
Be prepared for signal weaknesses because when we were looking for suitable hiding sites our GPS receiver signal dropped in and out at several locations throughout the park - but once into open skies all is well.
We hope you enjoy your walk, and please respect the environment at all times when searching.

26 Jan 2008 UPDATE
Due to a suspected muggling in 2007 and unreliable signal reception at WP1 we've opted for a better starting point and repositioned GZ.

16 March 2009 UPDATE
There's now a new ammenties building covering our revised WP1 so we've repositioned it nearby at S 34 41.087 E 150 51.224.

21 April 2012 UPDATE
Noting a few DNFs I revisited GZ yesterday and found the cache ok, however the GPS signal danced about for some time trying to get a good fix (because of the tree cover) so I've decided to relocate it - well away from it's original spot to a site with clearer skies and away from nearby housing units.

27 Feb 2013 Update
The local council removed all of the undergowth around GZ and thus exposed the site to muggles. I've relocated it to the other end of the gardens.

13 Nov 2016 Update
To make it easier to find the cache and to stop damage to the nice rock wall, follow the instructions below:
When you think you are close (within 10m) cross the main waterway, follow the low man-made rock wall for about 6 m (away from the water) and look at the base of the first tree along the wall. The unnatural pile of rocks covering the cache is a give-away.
[All WP co-ords and GZ verified on 27.2.13 using Google Earth.]
Good Luck.
