Inspired by the local ‘X Marks The Spot’ series, this
is a slight variation on the theme…
The co-ordinates above take you to the public car park off the
B2128 Wonersh Common Road. The entrance to the car park is easily
missed, so approach slowly! From there, Chinthurst Hill can be
reached either by a short climb or a more leisurely stroll. Either
way, on a clear day there are fantastic views from the top over the
local countryside. On the summit stands another impressive sight -
Chinthurst Tower, built in the 1930’s as a folly.
The cache has been placed with the kind permission of Surrey
Wildlife Trust, who manage the site, which is a designated local
